The compass desk was designed by Pedro Miralles Claver for Punt Mobles, circa 1990. One of Pedro Miralles last designs before his untimely death in 1993. His contribution to Spain’s progressive postmodern movements including the infamous Movida Madrileña is well documented, his designs are some of the shining works to come out of Madrid in the 80’s. He studies at the Domus Academy in Milan and worked with Philippe Stark in Paris. The Compás Desk featured in a retrospective of his work in 2014 at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Madrid and illustrates beautifully a talent tragically lost much too early.

Made of Cherry wood the condition of this item is excellent with very little wear consistent with age.
